Richardville Pushes Questionable Real Estate Bill “MIGOP History of Crony Capitalism Combined With Unsavory Characters Casts Dark Cloud Over SB 509”

Lansing – Why does Michigan need a new law that would grant the Secretary of the State Senate, Carol Morey Viventi, the authority to convey by quit claim deed the State-owned Farnum Building? Who are the Michigan tax payers who would even consider changing state law to grant authority to transfer ownership of a $6,000,000 State-owned property to the secretary of a cabal of 38 politicians?  See link to SB 509 Analysis below.

According to a Detroit Free Press article that appeared on Jan. 6th, 2014, Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville, R-Monroe is leading 22 of 38 State Senators who are “apparently at odds with the state’s strategy” and talking of selling the state-owned Farnum Building, which houses Michigan Senate offices, and moving senators into the nearby Capitol View Building.Corrupt Richardville Snyder Schostak Boji

The state leases that building from developer Ron Boji, and it houses top managers from the Department of Community Health. See the link to how State Senators voted below.

This whole process smells of the retroactive “Mortgage Bill for One” that the Republican controlled legislature in Lansing pushed through to benefit Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostack’s brother. Is there any wonder why the informed Republican Grassroots, “True” Conservatives and the Tea Party faithful has caused such a rift with the current Michigan Republican Party establishment?
