A so-called Michigan Republican “Scrubs” Constituents Comments

When the “truth” and the “facts” come out they don’t like it. My current State Representative and current candidate for State Senate Dale Zorn (R) Monroe, not only removed my “truthful” comment on his facebook Ad he has “blocked” me from making any further comments! Hmmm… Zorn failed we the people are michigan ad

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. I guess Mr. Zorn doesn’t believe in this amendment!
http://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/first_amendment

Mr. Zorn’s facebook Ad shows him sitting with a group of seniors listening to their concerns. I posted two comments showing where he in “fact” voted in favor of taxing their Pensions with legislative links showing as much. So while he claims to be concerned with the seniors well being he is not being truthful with them.

The lion’s share of the burden bestowed on retiree’s, seniors and lower income citizens with Mr. Zorn’s “yes” vote on this legislation falls directly on them. By his “yes” vote the wealthy and politically well connected businesses get tax breaks that effect them very much . Tax increases on retirement income from pensions is hurting retiree’s and seniors in a graying state still recovering from the recession.

The links below will clearly show that Dale Zorn does not represent his constituents but the political Party Bosses he answers to. By putting Party politics interest over the very citizens he is supposed to represent is unconscionable! Zorn Advocates Tax Pensions

Study: 40% of Michigan Families Can’t Cover Basic Survival Expenses

Huge Decline in Wages for Michigan’s Working Families

Pay Falls for Low-Wage Men yet Women Still Far Behind,” found that real wages of Michigan workers have fallen by more than ten percent since 1979 for broad sections of the working class.

Hourly pay for low-wage workers of “prime working age” in Michigan fell 13.4 percent between 1979-2013, while pay for mid-wage workers of prime age fell 12.7 percent.

The collapse of wages in Michigan also illustrates president Obama’s and Governor Snyder’s “insourcing” policies, which involves pushing for lower corporate taxes and lower living standards and wages for workers in order to make American cities “attractive” for business. Snyder Obama Meet

Speaking at a Milwaukee factory in 2012, Obama celebrated the results of his and Snyder’s “bailout” policies in Michigan as a model for the rest of the country: What’s happening in Detroit can happen in other cities.

Declining work rates, stagnant wages, the rise of female-headed families, inferior education, and the arrival of millions of “immigrants” with poor education and low skills are little engines pushing up the poverty rate.

http://www.brookings.edu/research/testimony/2012/06/05-poverty-families-haskins

Study: 40% of Michigan Family Households Can’t Cover Basic Survival Expenses As Families in Michigan StruggleThe report commissioned by the Michigan Association of United Ways with research led by Rutgers University focuses on people whose earnings are above the poverty line but still unable to cover expenses such as housing, transportation and health and child care.

This is further proof that Michigan is NOT the “Comeback State” as proclaimed by the Snyder administration and more should be done to help and support working families in Michigan not just the politicians Business Buddies. I would argue Tax Cuts for their Business Buddies and Tax Increases on citizens is a huge factor.

Family Budget Calculator

EPI’s Family Budget Calculator measures the income a family needs in order to attain a secure yet modest living standard by estimating community-specific costs of housing, food, child care, transportation, health care, other necessities, and taxes. The budgets, updated for 2013, are calculated for 615 U.S. communities and six family types (either one or two parents with one, two, or three children).

As compared with official poverty thresholds such as the federal poverty line and Supplemental Poverty Measure, EPI’s family budgets offer a higher degree of geographic customization and provide a more accurate measure of economic security. In all cases, they show families need more than twice the amount of the federal poverty line to get by.

MIGOP Establishment “Elite” Has Set Itself Against Its Own Base

Article below the picture

A Constitution Scroll We the People 640 X 420

Some people just like to be led in circles. The Democrat Party has been transformed into a communist entity, please don’t take my word for it, just read the Communist Manifesto and then compare it to the Democrat platform and more importantly its actions. The Republican Party too is being hijacked away from its traditional core values, but by whom?

The answer is not very hard to find when you follow the GOP leadership’s actions. Basically both parties leadership is one in the same, one a little less socialist than the other. The “die hard” GOP rank and file is blinded by rhetoric, like the scene in the movie Animal House, “please sir, may I have another”?

The blind loyalty of the “faithful” GOP rank and file is the reason the GOP is wandering down the dark path toward socialism, you see the “peons” are the entities with the power to prevent the liberal takeover of the GOP; the problem presented is that the “peons” like to be lied too and led. ~ Jeff Andring former chairman of the Monroe County Republican Party A Sheeple Elect

Has Your TEA Party Group Been Co-opted By the Michigan Republican Party?

I received an email titled “Monroe Republicans Events” from the Patriots of Southeast Michigan and when I replied to inquire why they were sending out events promoting a liberal Richardville group of Republicans I received this reply below. Patriots of Southeast Michigan Logo

I post information, not necessarily endorsing it. If any true conservatives have the courage to participate and try to influence Monroe Republicans, more power to them.~ Sara. The stated mission of this group is as follows: Patriots of Southeast Michigan  is a “non-partisan” group dedicated to holding elected officials accountable to the Constitution and to sharing information and tools to support, encourage, and connect like-minded citizens.

For those unaware Glenda Kennon is Senator Randy Richardville’s mother.

Below is the email I received and below that is an email Glenda sent out advocating “planned parenthood” also of note both Glenda Kennon and Randy Richardville sit on the Monroe Right to Life board.

Barb, I would not call these 12 RHINO’s, personally I do not like this term, their total record, not just one vote, needs to be taken into account before the labeling happens.  Planned Parenthood does a lot more than abortion; they also provide different methods of birth control, counseling, STD’s prevention and treatment and much more. Abortion, adoption and other options are also supplied to the expectant mother instead of just abortion. If you read more that just what this one person has to say about this issue, you might be surprised what PP actually does.  It also helps the mothers who want to keep their baby and provide clothing and supplies for them etc.  Sometimes pharmacy companies donate cases of formula.  They provide Teaching and hospital options, midwife as well as ensuring that the expectant mother receives adequate prenatal care, vitamins etc. Get the expectant mother in touch with social services and welfare as well as programs to help with the medical care and food for the baby for only $5.00 a month. They actually help them fill out the forms.  I would hold judgment until more information was provided.  Our social workers work very closely with Planned Parenthood and the health department. It is NOT just about abortion.  Go on the web and look up Planned Parenthood and read the additional information regarding this issue.

Comment:
The ideology expressed here by 1st Vice Chair Glenda Kennon of the Monroe County Republican Party may be heart warming and sincere in her opinion, it does not represent the true Republican principles, traditions, and values of the Republican Party.

The recent scandals of the past few years have proved that Planned Parenthood is not only in direct conflict and disregard of the Republican principles, traditions, and values of the Republican Party platform, but a blatant disregard of the law by this organization.

This just shows that by advocating Planned Parenthood by this Republican elected official based on emotion and personal feelings is not in keeping with Republican principles, traditions, and values. That’s unconscionable!

TEA Parties were NEVER meant to be wings of the Republican Party to rubber stamp it’s WEAK candidates in November! Wake up people!

2014 Primary Edition: Cronyism, Corruption, Lies, Spies and Incumbents

Tuesday August 5th you have a choice to cast your votes for more of the same old status quo or to cast your votes for real change of Freedom and Liberty which will you choose?

We the people in the true conservative grassroots Tea Party made a statement in 2010 and put those into power and control here in Michigan thinking we had done the right thing. Unfortunately what we have seen is the exact opposite of what we thought we were getting!

If one was to study and compare the policies that have been enacted in the last four years it’s clear we have had the “wool” pulled over our eyes by false promises and representation out of those we elected to serve our best interest.

Will we continue down this path by casting our votes for more of the same or will we make those that have betrayed us pay the ultimate price for giving us the shaft? I for one will not let this betrayal slide by because of the old argument that casting my vote for one evil over another is the “right” thing to do! Eagle Patriot

If Governor Snyder and the Republican controlled legislature is re-elected this will only send a message to them that we like what you are doing and it will be full steam ahead with more liberal and progressive policies we can ill afford here in Michigan.

It’s high time we as a people make a stand and say enough is enough of this top down “dictating” approach that many of us are not at all happy with the direction we are being led that the political party leaders think they know what’s best for Michigan citizens and their families.

We the People are supposed to be in charge “NOT” the Party or the Party bosses along with their big money donors who set public policy over the very one’s who elected them to serve us! If your content with being dictated to and being led like sheep then I feel for you but the problem is your taking those of us who chose the “right” path down with you.

Bailouts, Common Core aka (Communist Core) SnyderCaid (Medicaid Expansion aka ObamaCare) Corruption and Cronyism for the “Friends and Family” program along with the “Business Buddies” fund of the politicians must stop! We have had higher taxes bestowed upon us in the last four years and a expansion of government that we don’t want or need and it’s getting out of control. Lesser of two evils

Don’t fall for the rhetoric that any Republican is better than any “evil” Democrat because if you do your just getting a different kind of “evil” and remember evil is still evil no matter which way you spin it.

A couple founding quotes ring true today by one of our founding fathers and his son.

In politics the middle way is none at all ~ John Adams

Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost ~ John Quincy Adams

Cantor’s Defeat Proves “The Conservative Tea Party” Voice Means Business

This should show the establishment MIGOP that when they attack the Grassroots, Conservatives, Libertarians and Tea Party faithful and their voices are ignored you will pay a price at the voting booth! A Tea Party

For Michigan’s Republican voters can you say the “dele-gate” fiasco with the Romney supporters or how about that fiasco at the Tampa Convention?

But it just doesn’t end with those two examples either. How about all the state party rule changes brought down by the power brokers of the MIGOP as to stifle the Grassroots Conservative Tea Party voices here in Michigan?

The party establishment will go to any and all lengths as to protect their perceived power and control along with their spots at the public “feeding trough” over its shrinking membership.

They have forgotten that we put them into power in 2010 with our votes and we can take that power away just as easy with those same votes! Looks like George Carlin was absolutely spot on with his quote – “It’s just a big club and guess what…we aren’t in it.” A Eric Cantor

So much for polls – Last week a poll commissioned by The Daily Caller had Cantor’s lead slipping, but he was still beating Brat by 13 points.

Cantor’s campaign dismissed that poll’s lead as ridiculously low, saying the Republican would “win by a much stronger margin.” Internal polling showed Cantor up 34 points.

It should come as no surprise that “political party machines” consistently do internal polling on policy issues that may reflect their re-election campaigns. But the internal polling on Eric Cantor proves that it’s not an exact science doesn’t it?

In a bit of a preview of what was to come, the incumbent chairman of the congressional district’s local Republican Party also a Cantor loyalist was defeated as well by a Tea Party favorite.

So the message here in Michigan to all the “Faux” Tea Party infiltrators that are nothing more than establishment lackey’s who bow to their establishment “master’s” beware you will come out on the losing end! A WE THE VOTERS

Conservative pundit Erick Erickson said Tuesday that the Virginia results showed the tea party should not be taken too lightly. Erick Erickson is a politically conservative American blogger and editor-in-chief of the blog site RedState.com.

Eric Cantor raised about $5.4 million during the campaign, compared with Dave Brat’s $200,000 so all the money in the world couldn’t offset the wrath of the Grassroots Conservative Tea Party voters! Fool the voters once shame on the politician, fool the voters twice shame on the voters.

A “Reality Check” on Politicians and “Those Who Elect Them”

1 An Informed RepublicWe have all heard that voting for the worst of two evils is still evil but the electorate continues this madness.

This voter ideology presents severe dangers to our Liberties, Freedoms and the very existence of our Republic as we know it.

Many of our elected officials have drifted away from the concept of civic duty in “serving the people’s interest” and have become self serving to themselves and their political party.

Many have also failed as a husband, father and a representative of the people and indulged in things they should have avoided.

With politicians it seems to be easy to fall into the trappings of temptations with the perceived power that comes with being elected as a public servant. Some reporters have referred to certain politicians as rock-stars within the political arena which goes right to their heads.  3 Bribe Politicians

The allure of the big money through (Campaign Donations) being thrown at these politicians by the many lobbyist and special interest are a huge part of the problem but the lack of morality and principles of these legislators falls directly on them!

If we as a people are to change the direction of our state and country we must change the way we cast our vote for the current ideology of casting our votes for the worst of two evils will be our own downfall and the downfall of our state and country! There are other options besides the two major political parties.

We the People are in need of a viable alternative to the two major political parties. The Constitution Party is that option. Here in Michigan the Constitution Party http://www.constitutionparty.com/ has an affiliate (USTMP) http://www.ustpm.org/about.html

MIGOP “Tactics” as to get “Their” Chosen Candidates Elected

I’m sure this is going on all over the state as to stifle the Grassroots, Conservatives and Tea Party that dare challenge the establishment but this one is in my own backyard. We all have seen how the MIGOP establishment has gone after and targeted two conservatives Justin Amash and Kerry Bentivolio. Jason Sheppard and Richardville

I had seen in my facebook notifications that one of my facebook friends liked a page so I investigated. To my surprise and shock I couldn’t believe that many of my conservative friends would like a “yes man” for Senate Majority leader Randy Richardville for State Rep.

The MIGOP establishment has a plan in place as to get their chosen candidates elected and will go to any and all lengths as to make sure this happens. Let’s take a close look at just one example in my district how they are going about this.

State Rep. Dale Zorn was first elected in November 2010 to the Michigan House to represent the residents of Monroe County for a two year term this after being a county commissioner for the past 20 years. Has he ever worked in the private sector? How many years is enough of feeding at the public trough? Zorn failed we the people are michigan ad

Now with Senate Majority leader Randy Richardville being term limited Mr. Zorn will forgo his final two years of eligibility as a House Rep. to pursue the seat in the Senate being vacated by Mr. Richardville his life long buddy. Hmmm…

Couple that with another Richardville “yes man” former Monroe County Republican Party “puppet” chairman and current county commissioner Jason Shepard being “anointed” to run for the State Rep. seat being vacated by current State Rep. Dale Zorn.

Oh the webs they weave in the political arena here in Michigan. Word from inside Lansing’s Capitol from a very reliable source is that Mr. Zorn can’t cast a vote without contacting Party leadership as to see how he should vote! Is this representing the people who elected him or the Party? I believe the answer to that is clear. Jason Sheppard with State Representative Dale Zorn

This candidate Jason Sheppard has consistently “name dropped” and “bragged” about having dinners with Governor Snyder and his wife along with Senate Majority leader Richardville and his wife (before their much publicized divorce) at several establishment Party functions so this should show that this candidate is establishment all the way and if elected will represent Party over citizens.

I contacted all my facebook friends who is shown to have liked Jason Sheppard for State Rep. and not one of them said they liked his page! Hmmm…Something bad wrong here folks!

Additional interesting sources and information pertaining to this story:

For those fellow Conservative Patriot friends that his page shows you have liked, several have already un-liked once this was brought to their attention. If you like Snyder and Richardville’s “liberal policies” your sure to like Jason Sheppard and Dale Zorn.

Republicans Collaborate With Left-Wing Liberals Against Conservatives and Tea Party

Amelia Island Ritz HotelAmelia Island in Florida is the gathering “Hot Spot” for the Political Elitist, Lobbyists, Big Labor, and the Republican leadership that all use this “chic” location to collaborate defeating conservatives and the Tea Party Patriots.

The Republican Main Street Partnership’s offshoot “Main Street Advocacy” is one such group that host these events at the Ritz Carlton on Amelia Island.

The “Main Street Partnership.” is just one of the D.C.-based outfits started by lobbyist Steve LaTourette.

The group has made it its mission to come after constitutional conservatives and to back big-government puppets. As late as 2007, Mitt Romney was a member of the Republican Main Street Partnership.

Why would Republican leaders speak at a fundraiser for a super PAC whose goal it is to take out conservatives? Why would they lend their names to a group that’s in cahoots with Big Labor? Remember those “secret” meetings that Governor Snyder had with the Union Bosses leading up to the passage of RTW? Hmmm…

I would have liked to been a gnat on a fly’s ass during those private meetings as to hear just what kinds of “deals” were struck with the Union Bosses! Can you say Bailout for Detroit? What else?

Steve LaTourette, a former congressman and friend of John Boehner, runs the “Republican Main Street Partnership”. Note the word “Republican.” All Clowns Democrats & Republicans

As the left-wing Talking Points Memo reported a month ago, LaTourette and his Main Street Partnership have created an affiliated SuperPAC called “Defending Main Street PAC.” Along with the Chamber of Commerce and Republican Leaders, the Main Street Partnership wants to take out troublesome conservatives.

Michelle Malkin: Beware of the George Soros funded Republican Main Street Partnership
What do George Soros, labor unions and money-grubbing former GOP Rep. Steven LaTourette all have in common?

They’re control freaks. They’re power hounds. They’re united against tea party conservatives. And they all have operated under the umbrella of D.C. groups masquerading as “Main Street” Republicans.

Campaign Commercial Republican Hypocrisy in new “Snyder Attack Ad”

The “new attack ad” released for TV viewers attacking his opponent for a 2002 state House vote that imposed a new per-bed fee on nursing homes will only work for the die hard “sheeple” Republican voters who would cast a vote for Satan if he had an (R) after his name! A Engler Snyder

The problem is, The “Medicaid Quality Assurance Assessment Program” was backed by Republican Gov. John Engler (R) in 2002, which was supported by a majority of Republicans in the state Legislature and was later extended by Gov. Rick Snyder (R) in 2011.

The program was designed to win federal match dollars and then return them to nursing homes that participate in Michigan’s Medicaid program.

“By continuing the assessment, the state receives more in federal matching Medicaid funds than what is paid out by nursing homes,” according to a 2011 press release from Snyder’s office.

“These funds are then directed back to the nursing homes in Michigan that provide SnyderCaid services.” Kowall Papageorge Richardville Snyder

Several so-called Michigan Republicans also voted in favor of the nursing home assessment program (bed tax) in 2002 while serving as State Representatives by casting their “yes” vote. They are included in the photo above with Snyder they are current State Senate Majority leader Randy Richardville along with two other current State Senators Mike Kowall and John Pappageorge.

2002 Senate Bill 1323: Michigan Medicaid Quality Assurance Assessment “bed tax”
Public Act 562 of 2002 Signed by Governor John Engler (R) on October 1, 2002
Introduced by Sen. Loren Bennett (R) impose a new “bed tax” on nursing homes, hospitals, and HMOs, which is designed to allow the state to garner a greater amount of federal Medicaid dollars. These would be returned to the health providers, resulting in a net gain for most of them.

Talk about calling the kettle black here folks I mean, look at that crazy uninformed liberal saying taxing the elderly and infirm just so they can have a place to lay their heads at night!

2011 House Bill 4734: Eliminate sunset on MMQAA health care provider tax
Public Act 144 of 2011 Signed by Gov. Rick Snyder on September 20, 2011
Introduced by Rep. Matt Lori (R) on August 24, 2011, to extend an Oct. 1, 2011 sunset on the “Michigan Medicaid Quality Assurance Assessment” (MMQAA) tax on health care facilities until Oct. 1, 2015. This is a bed tax or fee on health care providers that is used to generate more federal Medicaid matching funds, resulting in a net gain for some but not all of the providers.
